WHYY Bridging Blocks Events – Apr 8-30

Posted by WHYY on April 7, 2026

WHYY’s Bridging Blocks program brings together people from all walks of life for facilitated conversations on topics ranging from free speech to the foster care system.

The discussions often start with a short piece of journalism or media and then open into a moderated dialogue among the people in the room. Depending on the community and the topic, some sessions unfold as a single group conversation, while others break into smaller table discussions.

When the program began nearly five years ago, it started primarily as conversations at Free Library branches in Philadelphia. Now, we’re excited to be hitting the road and visiting community spaces across the region — including libraries, community centers, schools, and senior centers.
