2025 Peace and Justice Studies Association Conference and Pre-conference Trainings and Activities – Oct 9-12

Registration is open for the 2025 Peace and Justice Studies Association Conference being held at Swarthmore College October 9-12. You can review the exciting offerings in the program here!
The following pre-conference trainings and activities are available on Thursday, October 9 (anyone can register for these with or without registering for the whole conference):
- A tour of environmental justice work in Chester, Pennsylvania with Chester Residents Concerned for Quality Living (CRCQL)
- Training in nonviolent street skills with Eileen Flanagan
- Training in cybersecurity skills for activists with Michael Loadenthal, Director of the Peace and Justice Studies Association
- A tour of Philadelphia murals [SOLD OUT, but drop an email to lsmithe1@swarthmore.edu if you would like to be on a waiting list.]
You can purchase tickets for these trainings and tours for $125 via the same Eventbrite page where one registers for the conference, though you are not required to register for the conference. (Click ‘Get tickets’ then scroll down to ‘Add-ons’.) The price includes lunch at Swarthmore College and dinner at Pendle Hill Quaker Retreat Center (but not the opening conference reception after the dinner).
