Impact Report: Creating Homes, Building America

We are pleased to present NeighborWorks America’s annual report for fiscal year 2024. In this interactive document, we chronicle — through data and moving, personal stories — the very real impact of our work to build homes and communities and support individuals and families in securing economic opportunity.

Home is the starting point for everyone and the foundation of America’s strength. When people are stably housed and believe they have a stake in their community, they can be productive and focused on building a positive future. This is the vision we share with our network of almost 250 local nonprofit organizations across the United States, as well as our staff, partners and supporters.

Explore the report and you’ll see that we made great strides in a number of important areas:

• Nearly 50,000 jobs created/supported
• An astounding $4.6 billion invested in creating homeownership and $1.6 billion in commercial lending
• Close to 450,000 households assisted with housing and counseling

And those are just a few of our top achievements in 2024. At the same time, we’ve embarked on our next strategic plan for fiscal years 2025–2027, and we see great opportunity ahead to expand and enhance our impact.
