Constitution Day Celebration at the National Constitution Center – Sep 17

Join us on Constitution Day as we commemorate the signing of two of the nation’s founding documents: the U.S. Constitution, the anniversary we celebrate every year on September 17, 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM; and the Declaration of Independence, which is celebrating its 250th birthday all year long.
Programs will honor both revolutionary documents, including a lively reading of the Constitution’s Preamble, a moving naturalization ceremony, special conversations with favorite revolutionary figures, educational activities and workshops, hand-on arts and crafts, and more. And of course, there will be constitutional birthday cake!
