Posted by A Book A Day on August 5, 2025
A Book A Day, a West Philly-based organization that promotes literacy and access to the arts in our community is partnering with the Free Library of Philadelphia to host a Children’s Day on Saturday, August 23, 1:00-4:00 PM. We’ll be giving away 500 books reflecting Philadelphia’s diverse communities (including multilingual titles), featuring presentations from five local writers/illustrators, and giving children a chance to make art.
This event will take place in the Children’s Department of the Parkway Central Free Library, which is located on the ground floor.
