YOUTHadelphia Grant 2025 – Apply by Jul 24

YOUTHadelphia grants support youth leadership development programs/projects consisting of social and political themes and content in program/project curriculum; and help young people build skills/capacities to be decision makers and action-oriented social problem solvers.
- Five grants, each $10K, will be awarded to nonprofit organizations (Two $10K grants will be awarded to nonprofits operating in zip codes 19120 or 19140, Three $10K grants will be awarded to nonprofits operating in zip codes 19139, 19143 or 19104)
- Serves youth ages 0 – 18 who are residents of Philadelphia
- Nonprofit must be based in Philadelphia in one of the following zip codes: 19120, 10140, 19139, 19143, 19104
- If selected for a virtual site visit, the nonprofit organization must have at least two current youth participants under the age of 18 lead the virtual site visit
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a 501 (c) (3) or fiscally sponsored by a 501 (c) (3)
- Project/Program is based in Philadelphia in one of the following zip codes: 19120, 19140, 19139, 19143, 19104
- 100% of those served by project/program can be categorized as children (0 to 12) or youth (13 to 18)
- At least 70% of youth served by project/program can be categorized as low-income.
- 100% of youth served by project/program reside in Philadelphia (CITY/COUNTY).
- Child abuse clearances are up to date including PA Child abuse, criminal history, and FBI fingerprinting for all project/program staff and volunteers working with project/program youth.
- A full time equivalent employee is dedicated to the proposed project/program.
