Virtual Film Screening & Discussion for “Disrupted: Injustice, Trauma, and Healing” – Apr 3
Posted by Youth Sentencing & Reentry Project on April 1, 2025
Join the Youth Sentencing & Reentry Project (YSRP) for a special virtual screening of “Disrupted: Injustice, Trauma, and Healing”, a film produced and directed by YSRP Senior Reentry Coordinator, John Pace, with support from Represent Justice—the organization that partnered with Warner Bros. on the film Just Mercy. This 30-minute documentary is a powerful portrait of Philadelphia through the lens of race, class, and incarceration.
The film features YSRP’s Intergenerational Healing Circle—a unique space for collective healing that brings together people sentenced to life as children and youth impacted by the adult criminal legal system.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring voices from the film who are advancing healing and justice every day.
Date and Time: April 3, 2025, 2:00 PM
