Cause Strategy Partners invites applications for Alexandra Hallock Capacity Building Grant for Small Nonprofits

Cause Strategy Partners envisions a world where every business and community leader finds purpose by lending their skills and passions to high-impact, value-aligned nonprofits working to create a more just, vibrant, and equitable world.

The organization invites applications for the Alexandra Hallock Capacity Building Grant for Small Nonprofits, which aims to honor the legacy of Alexandra Hallock by supporting small nonprofit organizations championing human rights, girls’ and women’s empowerment, and LGBTQ+ causes, providing financial support and invaluable resources to strengthen the infrastructure, governance, and long-term sustainability of grassroots organizations.

The grant opportunity, which provides a comprehensive package designed to empower nonprofits, will be awarded in full to three organizations. Selected organizations will receive a $20,000 unrestricted grant; pro-bono capacity building resources, such as a consulting engagement from Cause Strategy Partners experts valued at $10,000 and access to Taproot Foundation’s Nonprofit Success Coaches, which offers personalized guidance to maximize the use of pro-bono resources; long-term governance support; and enhanced visibility.

To be eligible, applicant must be tax-exempt as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code in operation for at least 12 months; have an annual revenue not exceeding $400,000, advance a mission and programs dedicated to human rights, girls’ and women’s empowerment, or LGBTQ+ causes, and be based in and serving communities in the United States.
