Webinar: Public Service Loan Forgiveness & Teacher Loan Forgiveness – Mar 26

Posted by Merrimack College on February 11, 2025

The Informational Session on “Public Service Loan Forgiveness & Teacher Loan Forgiveness” will occur on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST, via the Zoom platform.

Navigating the various programs available to teachers struggling with their student debt can be overwhelming and confusing. Join nationally recognized student loan expert Betsy Mayotte from The Institute of Student Loan Advisors (TISLA) for this FREE webinar that will explain the rules of both the Public Service Loan Forgiveness and Teacher Loan Forgiveness programs and help you determine which program might be the best fit for your student loan situation.

This webinar is offered through a generous grant provided to TISLA from the Garrant Foundation – the session is FREE and open to Merrimack College students, alumni, and the external community. TISLA was founded to ensure that all student loan borrowers have access to free, neutral and clear student loan advice and dispute resolution assistance. TISLA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit who believes that these borrowers have a right to a trusted resource with industry experience to mentor, educate and advocate for them; and that student loan borrowers have a right to such a resource without being charged a fee, barraged with advertisements, or forced to provide personal information that may later be sold.

Please register to secure your spot and to receive additional details and logistics (i.e. TISLA data collection form, Zoom link, etc.)
