Posted by PHENND on December 3, 2024

PHENND is pleased to announce that schools in Philadelphia can now apply for a Community Partnerships Coordinator PHENND Fellow VISTA position for a start date of August 11, 2025. The PHENND Fellow VISTAs will coordinate and facilitate partnerships between the host school and existing and/or potential outside community partners with the goal of well integrating services into the school’s schedule and meeting major school needs, thereby ensuring that these partnerships are mutually beneficial, sustainable and serving students effectively. This position can be renewed for three years at PHENND’s discretion.

A complete job description of the Community Partner Coordinator position, and a list of Frequently Asked Questions, can be found here.

Note: We are holding an information webinar on Thurs, Jan 15 @ 12PM. Please register for this session to learn more.

This will be the 12th year of this program; we are hoping to select 3-4 schools to add to our roster of hosts. The most successful candidates will clearly articulate in their application how they will use the Community Partnerships Coordinator VISTA position to help them achieve their school improvement objectives.

Final decisions will be determined by mid-February by the review committee, which includes representatives from PHENND’s advisory board and staff as well as the School District of Philadelphia’s Office of Strategic Partnerships.

The application to host a PHENND Fellow Community Partnerships Coordinator VISTA can be found here.

Note: You can save your responses on the application and return to it as you need to complete it. We ask that you complete your responses no later than Monday February 3.

Please feel free to contact Eden Kainer with any questions or concerns you may have about the application process at 215-573-2379 or ekainer87@phennd.org. For your reference, please click here for PDF version of the application.
