This workshop is designed for faculty who would like to facilitate constructive dialogue on difficult and controversial topics. Whether you are trying to navigate tense conversations about the upcoming election, global events, or local issues, this workshop can help.
For serveral years, Dr. Harris Sokoloff (Penn GSE) and Chris Satullo (Philadelphia Inquirer & Committee of Seventy) have run a series of deliberative dialogues called “Can We Talk?” Over the years, they have developed a robust tooklit of techniques and ground rules, what they call a “A Roadmap for Successful Conversations.”
Join this workshop to learn more about these techniques and practice them yourself.
