Mighty Writers West: Recruiting Mighty Buddies

We’re Recruiting K, 1st, 2nd & 8th graders to be Mighty Buddies!
Mighty Buddies pairs 8th graders with elementary-age youth for a fun-loving approach to reading, writing and relationships.
Our littles receive the mentorship of an engaged older student. We read their favorite books and also introduce them to new books they love!
The 8th graders receive training in mentoring and early literacy approaches and complete a service learning project. The service learning hours they earn can be applied toward one of the high school graduation requirements.
Space is limited and enrollment is required.
