FREE Composting in Kensington

Do you live in Kensington and are interested in composting your food scraps? Bennett Compost has partnered with the New Kensington CDC to offer a couple of ways to make that happen!
If you live in the 19134 zip code, Bennett Compost may be able to offer free curbside composting as part of a pilot program to explore demand for composting in Kensington. To see if you qualify, enter your address here. If you see the $0 composting option, you are eligible!
If you aren’t in the service area but are interested in our Kensington composting drop-off program, we’ve got you covered as well.
We are currently offering free public composting drop-off at two locations in Kensington:
- Tusculum Gateway Garden (2715 Kensington Ave.)
- Greensgrow Farms (2501 E. Cumberland Ave.)
