Join the Philadelphia College Prep Roundtable (PCPR) at Temple University for our 2024-2025 academic year kickoff event–the PCPR Fall Symposium. This information packed event will include up-to-the-minute updates on issues affecting higher education such as the recently passed PA Governor’s budget for higher education, the impact of the affirmative action and DEI decisions and protests/ free speech issues on campuses.
One of the highlights of the day will be a panel with journalists from noted national media outlets including the Chronicle of Higher Education and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education who will discuss what their reporting shows to be issues that the college access and higher education community should be paying attention to in the 2024-2025 academic year.
The event will also feature structured networking time with exhibitors and table talks that will include an opportunity to learn more about digital tools for enhancing your professional persona. Breakfast and lunch will be provided and there is no cost to attend. Registration is required, however, and the link will be available soon.
