Posted by Federation of American Scientists on June 4, 2024
The Federation of American Scientist (FAS) just issued a new report: K-12 STEM Education For The Future Workforce: A Wish List For The Next Five Year Plan, in April 2024. It is a short read full of references and data that is relevant to all of us in STEM Education.
This report was prepared in partnership with the Alliance for Learning Innovation (ALI), to advocate for building a better research and development (R&D) infrastructure in education. The Federation of American Scientists believes that STEM education evolution is necessary to prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s in-demand scientific and technological careers, as well as being a national security pursuit. The text of the report was compiled by Jeff Weld Ph.D. of FAS.
