Summer Job Openings with Parks & Rec (full and part-time)

If you’re good with working children and passionate about parks, communities, and play, Hawthorne needs you! Join the Parks & Rec team! The Hawthorne Cultural Center is hiring camp counselors. Ridgway Park is hiring lifeguards! Four jobs within and around the Hawthorne Cultural Center must be filled immediately. Three Lifeguards (@$16.00 per hour) are still needed for the Ridgway Park pool to open this season. Five Pool Maintenance Attendants (@$15.00 per hour) for the 8-week season are also needed.
A counselor is needed for the Passport Philly Camp. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. Our Rec Center is in desperate need of a maintenance person to keep both parks & the center.
