We are seeking a Managing Director (1-Year Contract), Community-based Global Learning Collaborative to support the ongoing operations and growth of the Collaborative in the year ahead.

Salary and Location: Remote, independent contractor work opportunity, $5,500 per month / $66,000 per year.

Periodic in-person meetings between Boston and Philadelphia, with additional possible national / international meetings possible. Approved travel paid by the Collaborative, proximity and ease to the Mid-Atlantic of the US East Coast is preferred but not essential.

Job Summary:

The Managing Director of the Community-based Global Learning Collaborative (The Collaborative) serves as the key implementation staffing for the Collaborative’s business, with particular attention to supporting the Global Engagement Survey and growing membership. The Collaborative is a multi-institutional hub supporting ethical global learning and community campus partnerships. The Managing Director will support all phases of the research process of the Global Engagement Survey (GES), a multi-institutional study that examines the outcomes of high impact programming, such as community-engaged learning and study abroad, on global learning competencies. In addition to overseeing the GES and working with student staff as available, the Managing Director will work closely with the Collaborative Co-directors, Steering Committee, and stakeholders to re-envision the GES, grow membership, and offer online and in-person professional development opportunities.
