Webinar: Healthy Food Community Practice: Breaking down silos to advance systems-level change – May 21
Posted by Community Wealth Partners on May 21, 2024
How can a diverse range of organizations—each serving unique communities and each with its own goals and priorities—come together to push for systemic change? And how do these organizations align around a shared purpose and commitment to equity?
This 75-minute webinar will describe how more than 50 organizations working in the field of healthy food access and consumption came together through the Healthy Food Community of Practice in pursuit of an equitable food system. From 2020-2024, community members reimagined food systems by breaking down silos between organizations, fostering deep relationships among change agents working inside these organizations, increasing the knowledge and know-how around equitable and culturally competent practices, and supporting the development and dissemination of new tools and approaches for the field.
Join the conversation to learn ways in which collective efforts like the Healthy Food community can contribute to broader systems change and key considerations for creating the enabling conditions.
