AmeriCorps National Service Guide: A Guide to National Service for AmeriCorps Members in the City of Philadelphia
Posted by City of Philadelphia Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity on May 7, 2024
This guide was created by the Serve Philadelphia VISTA Professional Development committee to ensure that any member can thrive and survive throughout our service term. Through a three-year VISTA Project, the guide’s work was continued. Contributions of resources from other national service members are always welcome.
We’re excited to continue to develop the guide to tailor it to you, your programs needs, and your members’ experiences. The guide is a living document, meant to be heavily used, updated, and changed as the landscape of National Service in Philadelphia is changed, and with how we interact with each other and the communities we serve.
The guide can be shared with any members across the space, as well as members you expect to onboard soon!
