The Division of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement in collaboration with International Students and Global Programs invites you to a virtual fireside chat and student conversation with Dr. Rajika Bhandari to discuss how institutions can support international students and better understand their lived experiences assimilating to the American higher education system and the intersectionality of race, foreign student status and culture. Dr. Rajika Bhandari is a scholar-practitioner in international higher education, author of the award-winning book, America Calling: A Foreign Student in a Country of Possibility, and the host of the World Wise podcast on education, culture, and migration. Quoted frequently in the global press, she is a leading researcher, a widely published author, and keynote speaker and workshop facilitator on international students and international education.
