Join us for the 1st Annual Reentry Job Fair & Resource Village!
Meet with employers and community agencies that provide services to formerly incarcerated citizens.
Formerly incarcerated citizens do not have to pre-register to attend this job fair, they can just show up.
- We do strongly urge formerly incarcerated attendees to come dressed to impress, bring copies of their updated resume, and come ready to speak about their skills and qualifications!
- We have a prep-workshop scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, 2024, 5pm-8pm, to help coach formerly incarcerated job seekers to make their best impression with the employers at the job fair.The pre-workshop will be held at the Entertainment and Community Center, Temple University, 1509 Cecil B. FREE STATE IDENTIFICATION CARDS ISSUED
Many formerly incarcerated citizens don’t have an official state issued identification card. We’ve partnered with Penna. Dept. of Transportation (PennDOT) to issue them FREE state identification cards at this job fair. A special THANK YOU to Senator Sharif Street, Desmond McKinson (Communications-Senator Street), and Jeff Abramowitz, CEO, Petey Greene for this service!
VERY IMPORTANT: If formerly incarcerated attendees want to receive their official state ID card, they must bring the following THREE items:
- Birth Certificate or Passport.
- Social Security Card.
- Two forms of proof of address residency.
