Foundation Center offers workshop on new 990
The Free Library of Philadelphia’s Regional Foundation Center will hold a workshop for nonprofits on how to complete the new IRS Form 990 on Tuesday, January 19th from 10-11:30am at the Parkway Central Library, 1901 Vine Street in Philadelphia.
Karl Emerson, Esq., an attorney with Montgomery, McCracken, Walker and Rhoads and former Director of the Pennsylvania Bureau of Charitable Organizations, will speak about the new form and help nonprofits understand how to be in compliance with new regulations.
Emerson will also explain how to use the document to advance the organization’s public relations.
The workshop is free, but space is limited. Advance registration is required here.
