Ignite Your Spark: Discovering Teach For America – Tuesday, March 12, 2024, 8:00 PM

Interested in learning more about Teach For America? Ignite your spark by joining us for an upcoming informational session where you’ll discover who we are, what we do, and how our programs work. The first 30 minutes will address the most common questions we receive:

1. What is Teach For America
2. What and where will I teach?
3. What will my salary and finances look like?
4. How does teacher certification work?
5. How will I be trained and supported?

We will end with 15 additional minutes of Q&A, at which point you can get your specific questions answered. We will also be sending follow-up resources ahead of our application deadline on March 15th. Register here.

Teach For America Corps Application Workshop – Tuesday, March 13, 2024, 7:30 PM

Get support with your Teach For America Application for our final deadline on March 15th. The initial Teach For America (TFA) application includes two short answer questions, and your responses are a valuable opportunity to bring to life your accomplishments and desire for impact in the movement for education equity.

Several TFA corps members and alumni volunteers who have successfully navigated the application process have volunteered to facilitate small groups of 3-5 people who, like you, are interested in applying to TFA and pursuing equity-based work. You’ll have the chance to share your initial thinking (whether that’s a full rough draft, bullet points, or just general ideas), receive feedback from your facilitator, and, after an hour of collaboration time with other prospective applicants, you’ll emerge with stronger short answer responses!
