We’re thrilled to announce Season 4 of the Live The Legacy Podcast!
In our season opener, we’re honored to host Chyann Sapp, the dynamic Campaign Director at National Voter Registration Day. Chyann’s insights are not only inspiring but also a powerful reminder of the ease and importance of registering to vote. As we navigate through these critical times, her perspective shines a light on how each of us can make a real difference. National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday celebrating our democracy. It has quickly gained momentum since it was first observed in 2012, with more than 5 million voters registered to vote on the holiday to date! Celebrated every September, National Voter Registration Day involves volunteers and organizations from all over the country hitting the streets in a single day of coordinated field, technology, and media efforts.
Chyann Sapp brings a wealth of strategic planning experience across diverse sectors, including government, nonprofit, advertising, and real estate sales and development. In 2011, Chyann made history by becoming the first Youth Voter Coordinator for the City of New York, where she led youth programming including the NYC Youth Poet Laureate program and Student Voter Registration Day, which was inspired by her participation in National Voter Registration Day. She also served as the Associate Director of a tech-focused nonprofit, where she led East Coast business development and established relationships with government and nonprofit partners to advance 2020 Census outreach efforts.
