Program Coordinator, SAADA

Posted by South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA) on January 23, 2024

SAADA is an organization on the rise, and we are seeking a Program Coordinator whose skills, commitment, and vision will further solidify SAADA as a national leader in community-based storytelling. If you are a conscientious, curious, and striving individual, we invite you to come build with us.

About the Role

The Program Coordinator is a dynamic and ever-evolving role within our organization, playing a vital part in delivering on SAADA’s mission, deepening our impact, and fostering meaningful connections with South Asian American communities across the country. As a member of our Program Team, you will report to and work closely with SAADA’s Program Manager to develop and execute innovative programs and initiatives that align with our organization’s long-term vision.

SAADA has several new projects on the horizon in the year ahead: a walking tour to share the histories of solidarities between South Asians and Black Americans in the fight for racial justice; a project to collect stories about South Asian American entrepreneurship and community-building; and we are producing our first animated film about two pioneering South Asian women in Philadelphia in the late 1800s. The Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in bringing these exciting projects, and many others, to life.
