Kessler Foundation Announces 2010 Signature Employment Grant Request for Proposals
Deadline: February 15, 2010
The Kessler Foundation has announced the availability of new guidelines for the 2010 cycle of its Signature Employment Grant program, which seeks to find ways to increase training, education, and employment opportunities that help people with disabilities lead independent lives.
The multiyear grant program supports large initiatives that serve residents of New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania who have mobility and/or cognitive impairments, primarily from neurological disorders. Projects must be collaborative, have multiple funding sources, and serve a large geographic area.
Applicants may seek funding for up to two years. Grants are for $100,000 to $250,000 each per year, for maximum project funding of $500,000.
Application to the Signature Employment Grant program begins with an online concept submission for foundation review. All applicants whose concept has been approved will be required to submit a full online grant proposal and interview with Kessler’s grants committee before final grant approval.
