Access to free COVID vaccine for uninsured and underinsured Philadelphians

Posted by City of Philadelphia Department of Public Health on December 5, 2023

Receiving the Covid-19 vaccine is the best way to protect yourself against illness, hospitalization, and even death from the virus. This updated vaccine is expected to provide better protection against variants that are currently making people sick.

The federal government and the Health Department are working with pharmacies, clinics, and health centers to ensure that people who do not have insurance coverage for vaccines are able to receive COVID-19 vaccine at no cost, through either Vaccine For Children (VFC) or the Bridge Access Program. To find a COVID-19 vaccine near you, visit the COVID-19 Sites Map  or vaccines.gov.
