Posted by University of Pennsylvania on November 14, 2023
Civic House is the University of Pennsylvania’s hub for student-led community service and social advocacy work, promoting mutually beneficial collaborations with partners in West Philadelphia and beyond. Through education, community connections, and other resources, Civic House prepares students for responsible and effective civic engagement and leadership. Civic House aims to support Penn students in responsible community engagement and inspire them to serve as lifelong thoughtful citizens and advocates for social change. The Penn Civic Scholars Program brings together a select cohort of undergraduate students to participate in a faculty-mentored experience that integrates community engagement and academic scholarship. This sequential four-year program culminates with a senior Capstone Project.
