As the only national higher education association dedicated solely to higher education civic and community engagement, Campus Compact enables higher education institutions to develop students’ citizenship skills and forge effective community partnerships. Our resources support senior administrators, faculty, staff, and students as they pursue community-based teaching, scholarship, and action in the service of positive change.

We seek a highly motivated and organized Special Projects Manager to oversee the day-to-day project management of a diverse portfolio of projects that foster innovative practices. are seeking to expand Campus Compact partnerships, identify and foster innovative practices, and drive institutional and field-level change.

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Strategy and Operations Officer, the Special Projects Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing high-impact projects that align with our organization’s goals and objectives. The portfolio of projects supported by the Special Projects Manager will be diverse in topical focus, are expected to change over time, and will regularly be linked to external funding. The Special Projects Manager will collaborate with multiple Compact staff teams, engage with external partners, and ensure the successful completion of projects that make a meaningful difference in higher education and communities.
