Full STEAM Forward (FSF) is an out of school enrichment program providing fully funded, virtual STEAM learning for young self-identifying girls of color. FSF is designed to inspire girls to love science and to equip them with an understanding of the sciences and their uses.

The program is for girls in 3rd-5th grades and covers a broad range of scientific fields including: biology, oceanography, anthropology, astronomy, and earth science.

The FSF Educator will implement provided science curricula in a virtual learning environment. The FSF educator and students receive materials at the beginning of every session to utilize during each class. The FSF Educator will apply relevant science teaching philosophies to support the students in developing a sustained interest in the sciences. Classes are taught alongside other FSF educators and student mentors.

This is a predominantly remote part-time position, with occasional in-person meetings throughout the year. Hours are typically after-school during the school year, with potential hours in the summer. This position will require a minimum of 4 hours per week during the school year.
