Bank On Fellowship Program & Informational Webinar – Jun 21
Posted by Bank On on June 20, 2023
Across the country, Bank On coalitions do critical work helping residents access safe, affordable banking accounts – and we know that dedicated coalition leadership is a key ingredient in supercharging coalition success.
With generous support from the Wells Fargo Foundation, the Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) Fund is thrilled to announce we are seeking applications for the next cohort of the Bank On Fellowship Program. The Fellowship will provide Bank On coalitions with match funds of $45,000 per year for two years to employ a full-time Fellow to lead coalition strategy and operations, along with significant technical assistance and resources.
The Bank On Fellowship is a national initiative focused on building a multi-city cohort of successful Bank On program leaders, equipping them with the training, tools, and resources to make significant advancements in local banking access efforts and generate best practices for other coalitions around the country. Eligible applicants are those seeking to launch a new Bank On coalition or relaunch a dormant Bank On coalition; coalitions must serve a city, county, or region with a population of at least 50,000 residents. The CFE Fund will give priority to proposals with strong municipal leadership and/or government connectivity, as well as a desire and ability to integrate banking access strategies within local government program services.
Applications are due July 7, 2023; apply now!
The CFE Fund will also host an informational webinar about the opportunity on Wednesday, June 21 at 1:00 PM EST – RSVP now!
If you have any questions, please reach out to Paige Diner, Principal.
Banking access is a cornerstone of financial stability; we look forward to supporting the next cohort of Bank On leaders in this important work.
