Careers in Writing Day, Rowan University – May 13
Posted by Rowan University on April 18, 2023
The Rowan Writing Arts Department is hosting a FREE “Careers in Writing Day” on Saturday, May 13, 2023, 10:00 Am – 1:30 PM, that is open to all high school sophomores and juniors.
We hope that this informative event will help students learn more about possible career pathways for those who are strong writers and communicators. Students who attend will meet current faculty and students and learn about careers in publishing, technical writing, science writing, and creative writing. Should they choose to apply to the Rowan Writing Arts program, attendees will receive an application fee waiver.
Students who attend can enjoy a free lunch and the opportunity to ask our current and past students about their experiences as Writing Arts majors while also meeting our faculty members.
We ask that students register by April 27th.
If you have any questions about this event, please feel free to reach out to our undergraduate program coordinator Dr. Amy Reed (reeda@rowan.edu).
