Community-Based Learning Instructor Training – Apr 20 & 21

The Lindy Center at Drexel University is excited to announce its upcoming Community-Based Learning Instructor Training on Thursday, April 20th 5:00pm-8:00pm and Friday, April 21st 9:00am-4:00pm. This training will be in-person and co-facilitated throughout alongside Lindy CBL staff, faculty fellows, community co-educators.
Thursday evening will be held at the Lindy Center (3210 Cherry Street) for an introduction to the pedagogy and to one another. Friday will begin with a session at Norris Square Neighborhood Project where we will learn alongside their staff and stakeholders about engaged, place-based learning and building relationships to address place-based issues. We will have lunch at Norris Square, and conclude the training back at the Lindy Center with a debrief and introduction to course and syllabus development.
