2023 Fighting Words Poetry Contest – May 15

K-12 students across the world can also make their voices heard this year by utilizing their creative writing skills in the sixth annual Fighting Words Poetry Contest.
Students can win cash prizes and have their work published on the Pulitzer Center website. Enter a poem that includes lines from a Pulitzer Center-supported news story by Monday, May 15, 2023!
We are currently offering free virtual workshops to help prepare your students for successful entries to this year’s contest.
