AMEC 2023 Virtual Pipeline Academy: Free Opportunity for High School Students Interested in Medicine, Dentistry, and Other Health Professions – Apr 1
Posted by Student National Medical Association on March 28, 2023
Calling all Educators, Counselors, Administrators, Parents/Guardians and STEM Allies
The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is the oldest student-led organization dedicated to supporting current and future underrepresented minority medical students. As part of our Annual Medical Education Conference (AMEC), we are excited to announce the Virtual Pipeline Academy, a half-day conference designed to excite, engage, and inform underrepresented minority (Black, Hispanic/Latino, and Native American) high school students interested in medicine and other health professions.
Our sessions will introduce students and parents to the premedical/pre-health experience, including SNMA and its resources for aspiring physicians. Participants will be able to take advantage of interactive and motivating workshops, as well as ask questions and gain informative advice to prepare students to be successful in high school and college.
While our conference focuses on preparing those underrepresented in medicine, it is open to all students from various backgrounds.
