Who should apply
This would be an ideal internship for an undergraduate student who has great data inference and data-array skills, (excellent Excel skills are expected) and who is seeking some experience in impact measurement in the field of non-profit micro-lending and small business technical assistance. Because this is part-time paid experience, a student who is locally-based this summer, and who is perhaps working a part-time job or part-time internship, might find it an exceptional opportunity to discover how traditionally underserved local entrepreneurs (entrepreneurs of color, women, low- and moderate- income Philadelphia and five-county residents, immigrant small business owners) are supported with both capital and business technical assistance to achieve financial self-sufficiency for themselves, their employees and the communities in which they are established.
Qualifications:
- Highly adept with MS Excel

Most communication will be via phone, video conference or email. There may be opportunities for on-site client business visits with an EW staff member.
- College students who have completed the equivalent of two years of course work with at least one business course and one statistics course are preferred.
COMPENSATION: Up to $20 per hour depending on experience and skill levels.
