K-12 Digital Learning Specialist (Full-time), Barnes Foundation

The K-12 Digital Learning Specialist conceptualizes and designs engaging virtual art education lessons for K-12 students, with the goal of helping schoolteachers around the globe integrate art into their classrooms across various content areas. This highly creative position will focus primarily on developing “Art Packs,” or asynchronous digital lessons related to the Barnes collection that teachers can access according to their needs/ schedules, and which are aligned with curricular goals. All virtual content will be delivered using the Barnes’s new state-of-the-art digital learning platform.
In addition to the curriculum design function, the K-12 Digital Learning Specialist will also have some teaching responsibilities for grades 3-7, both onsite (as needed) and online as part of our already-existing synchronous program, Barnes Art Adventures.
Staff time in this position is generally spent:
- 60% Digital program design
- 30% Teaching, as needed, both online and in the galleries.
- 10% Administrative responsibilities
This position is full-time and eligible for hybrid work (3days on site, 2 days remote from PA, NJ, DE).
