Act 158: How can higher ed support Philadelphia students? – Jan 31
Posted by PHENND on January 10, 2023
Tuesday, January 31 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm via Zoom
Higher ed partners: Please join PHENND for this virtual discussion with representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Education who will give a brief overview of the graduation pathways described in Act 158. Following that presentation, we will have an open discussion on the best ways local higher education institutions can be supportive of School District of Philadelphia students as they work to meet the graduation requirements.
Topics may include offering additional dual enrollment programs, providing internship and service-learning opportunities, tutoring students for the Keystone Exams; any and all ideas are welcome! Let’s be creative and ensure that our university-school partnerships are providing the best supports possible as students navigate these new pathway criteria.
Please register for this Zoom meeting here.
