Virtual Forum on Open Learning and ePortfolios – Jan 23
Posted by American Association of Colleges and Universities on November 29, 2022
Join us on January 23, 2023, for the fully online Forum on Open Learning and ePortfolios. This event is part of the American Association of Colleges and Universiites (AAC&U) Annual Meeting; registration for the Annual Meeting is not required to attend the Forum. The forum features two tracks: an Open Learning Track and an ePortfolio Practice and Research Track. This event is part of AAC&U’s Annual Meeting.
AAC&U’s 14th Annual Forum on Open Learning and ePortfolios will have a central focus this year on proven, innovative liberal education strategies that support and facilitate the goals of quality, equity, affordability, and access in higher education and serve to fully prepare students for life beyond graduation. This event will offer interactive concurrent sessions and workshop opportunities for participants to share evidence and best practices regarding how open learning, open pedagogical practices, and open educational resources are being leveraged in the service of student learning, digital equity, and student success. Relatedly, ePortfolios continue to be a key digital learning strategy as they offer opportunities to enhance student learning, success, and career development while also enabling students to learn and share openly. Across both of those themes, the Forum will highlight a range of faculty development practices, leadership strategies, and student voices that are being leveraged to successfully prepare and facilitate campuses as they employ open learning strategies and ePortfolios.
