Call for Speakers: Frontiers of Social Innovation: The Role of Social Innovation in Democracy – Dec 16
Posted by Stanford Social Innovation Review on November 22, 2022
Join Stanford Social Innovation Review—the leading global publication on social change theory and practice—for our Frontiers of Social Innovation 2023 (March 14-16) convening, “The Role of Social Innovation in Democracy,” as we gather international leaders from nonprofit organizations, philanthropy, academia, research, business, and government. Over the course of three, half-day sessions, we will meet virtually to question, debate, and discuss the relationship between social innovation and democracy and the role that social innovation plays in creating a more just and democratic society.
Frontiers of Social Innovation 2023 will explore the idea of “democracy,” from the perspective of both a political philosophy and the dominant geopolitical system of government, to its more local manifestations in our communities and our organizations.
We invite you to learn more and to access the speaker application form here.
The deadline to submit a speaker application is Friday, December 16, 2023.
