    Rutgers University–Camden is a diverse, research-intensive campus of approximately 7,400 undergraduate and graduate students and 1,100 faculty and staff members located in Camden, N.J., directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia.     The Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs (WRI) is a Southern New Jersey-focused research center at Rutgers University-Camden that collaborates with community and university partners to conduct research and program/project evaluations, leverage data for action, and support the development of community-based initiatives. Using social science research methods ranging from data-motivated storytelling to complex statistical analysis, and guided by core values of curiosity and collaboration, the WRI specializes in transforming fractured data into actionable information. The WRI supports Rutgers’ mission of research, teaching and service by connecting the multidisciplinary expertise of faculty to regional problems, developing research and professional skills in students, and linking the resources of higher education to communities in southern New Jersey.

    The Research Coordinator will coordinate research activities for multiple projects at the Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs. Their primary project will be to coordinate the evaluation of the Clayton Model Pilot Program, a flexible, agile social-emotional learning program that will expand to the state of New Jersey over the next four years. In accordance with WRI’s mission, the research coordinator will also support other research and evaluation initiatives that have policy and practice significance across Southern New Jersey.
