West Chester University Improving STEM Education through Residency (WISER) Program

With funding from the National Science Foundation, NOYCE grant, West Chester University (WCU) offers the West Chester University Improving STEM Education through Residency (WISER) Program where candidates earn a Masters Degree and teaching certification in 13 months. Candidates in the program will have opportunities to take coursework such as secondary STEM teaching and learning outcomes, supporting English Language Learners, and literacy development. Candidates will also have the opportunity to teach in a high-needs school. We are currently recruiting people with undergraduate or graduate degrees in STEM-related fields to apply for our first cohort of NOYCE scholars.
