Job Summary

The Center for Hunger-Free Communities is seeking part-time Program Facilitator(s) to support the Building Wealth and Health Network Program on a Per Diem basis. Qualified candidate(s) will be highly-motivated, flexible, caring individuals with a desire to learn all aspects of the Network Program, and a willingness to use those skills to assist the Network in an “on-call” capacity. Candidate(s) will be trained in the Network program curriculum and facilitation style and may support full cohort activities.

Essential Functions

  • Attend Network classes and assist coaches in facilitating. Candidate may assist in individual class sessions as needed or may be asked to support the conduct of a full program cohort of sixteen class sessions. Full cohorts presently meet four days a week for 2.5 hours each day for four weeks
  • The Program Facilitator may participate in planning meetings, prep work, and other documentation and administrative activities to support the program
  • Help recruit new members for participation in advocacy/community engagement programming
  • Represent the Network at community events, meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Assist in the creation and publication of materials for events
  • Strategize about new ways to grow the membership of the program
  • Attend trainings as identified by Center staff and member interests/needs
