Open House: Center for Antiracist Scholarship, Advocacy, and Action (CASAA), Arcadia University – Sep 12
Posted by Arcadia University on September 6, 2022
The new center at Arcadia – The Center for Antiracist Scholarship, Advocacy, and Action (CASAA) was established in November 2021 as part of Arcadia’s anti-Black Racism Initiatives (ABRI) in response to the murder of George Floyd and the resurgent anti-Black violence/rhetoric of the Twenty-first century. The Center is an interdisciplinary academic center that aims to bring together individuals from the University, community, and wider world to collectively reshape the thinking and mindset around racism through innovative scholarship and to promote racial justice, equity and healing.
We are holding our fall Open House on Monday, September 12, 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM and 4:00-7:00 PM and encourage you to attend and meet the staff, tour the Center’s and meet some of the Center’s Scholars. We are located at 2035 Church Road. Parking is available for guests at Parking Lot #14 (Boyer Hall).
