The Mayor’s Commission on Faith-Based and Interfaith Affairs invites you to Rising Up For Reparations, a vibrant, multi-faith event that proclaims the urgent call for true redistributive justice for Black Philadelphians.
Our hosts, WDAS’ Patty Jackson and WHYY’s Christopher Norris, will welcome special guests who will charge us to commit one-by-one, congregation-by-congregation, to work for the complete and final abolition of slavery.
Date and Time: Monday, June 20, 2022, 2:00-4:00 PM
Location: Friends Center, 1501 Cherry Street, Philadelphia, PA
Register for in-person attendance.
The Commission is grateful to our collaborators: The Truth-Telling Project, POWER Interfaith, and Philadelphia Yearly Meeting.
