Vote for Finalists: Community Champions Awards & Grants Challenge – May 25
Posted by City of Philadelphia Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity on May 24, 2022
The last few years have been a real struggle for many of our grassroots partners serving vulnerable communities. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to increased demand for services, but donations have dropped off from the early months. You can help us change that in just 5 minutes!
We have 20 amazing nonprofit organizations that have been selected as finalists in our Community Champions Awards & Grants Challenge. These organizations provide services to address critical issues such as poverty, gun violence, vaccine access, achievement gaps, and housing insecurity.
The final results will be determined by you in online voting. The top 10 vote-getters will each receive $20,000, while the runners-up will each receive $12,500.
Voting is open until May 25. Each user will be allowed to vote for one entry.
Help us celebrate Philadelphia’s outstanding grassroots organizations by voting today and sharing the news with your networks! (Click on Log in and then register.)
