Online Event: Race and Equity in Adult Education – Apr 1

Topics covered in this workshop include: implicit bias, strategies for talking about racial bias in the classroom, and addressing racial equity. Participants will generate ideas and steps we can take to move towards equity in adult education and discuss how can we address change in our field to help reduce racial inequity.
About the speaker: Mr. Musumba has written some of the most engaging lab practices centered around demystifying Science. As an educator Mr. Musumba is a celebrated practitioner of Pentecostal Pedagogy. A native of Kenya Mr. Musumba has leveraged his recognition of pattern of language in engaging English Second Language Learners through-out his teaching career.
