Book Talk Series Spring 2022, Center on Immigration, Cabrini – Mar 16
Posted by The Center on Immigration at Cabrini University on March 15, 2022
We are delighted to invite you to our Spring 2022 “Book Talk Series.” This year’s conversations merge local and global immigration and migration perspectives. Join us to hear how lives of thousands of refugees from North Africa unfold at the borders of Europe. Learn about the difference of immigrants and refugees and how Black Immigrants are oft silenced in conversations on immigration. Our conversations will also uncover the history of immigration prisons in the United States, and why they should not exist.
Our first book talk is by Dr. Isabella Alexander-Nathani, an award-winning author, human rights activist and scholar.
She will present her book, Burning at Europe’s Borders.
Join us virtually on March 16, 3:00 pm. Please sign up here.
