The PA Civics Coalition on February 22 for a conversation on the state of civics education in Pennsylvania. Governor Tom Wolf, Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Education Noe Ortega, Judge Marjorie Rendell, Congressman Jim Gerlach, and other notable education leaders discussed their current efforts to lift civics in Pennsylvania’s schools and examine ACT 35 implementation and how to support schools and students in preparing the next generation of citizens.
