Administrative Coordinator (Re-Entry Program), OIC

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing supportive services to the SOAR reentry staff. Specifically, by performing general administrative and clerical support tasks, handling administrative projects, and assisting in varied aspects of the SOAR reentry program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain client information in multiple database systems.
- Establish and maintain a filing system for clients’ paper files.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Answer and direct telephone calls.
- Monitor and direct incoming mail. Prepare outgoing mail for pickup.
- Assist with program related work, as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to work in a team environment, while also working independently.
- Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple tasks, projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer literacy in word processing, email, Internet, database usage and spreadsheets.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience in an office environment. Prior data entry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system and/or experience with ex-offenders preferred.
